A welding shop in Bécancour is looking for two versatile welder-fitters. Important: CWB certification is required, but the employer can provide it to someone who has the experience without holding the card. That is rare, and worth applying for even if you do not have it yet.
What you will do
- Weld and assemble parts in the shop
- Read drawings and hold dimensions
- Move between welding and fitting as needed
- Check the quality of your own work
What is required
- CWB certification required, or enough experience to obtain it with the employer’s support
- Welding and fitting experience
- Blueprint reading
- Valid authorisation to work in Canada
The conditions
- CWB certification can be provided by the employer
- Wage adjusted to real experience, up to 34 $ an hour
- Two positions open
- Varied work, not a single repeated operation
