Hiring a general labourer in Quebec and across Canada.
It is the easiest role to advertise and the hardest to keep filled. The problem is almost never skill: it is attendance, transport, and the gap between the job advertised and the job itself.
Start a mandateWhat we verify in a candidate for this trade
Each trade family has its own assessment module. For every skill claimed, a concrete and recent example is required, and the level of autonomy is stated.
The report you receive contains the strengths with their evidence, the gaps written plainly, the conclusion on work authorisation and a clear recommendation. See the full method
The test and the certifications
The technical test we recommend
A trial day speaks louder than any interview. We prepare the candidate for what you will be watching, so the day is representative.
We also give you what to verify during your interview, so you know what to listen for.
Certifications and documentation
No certification required in most cases. It is also the role for which the most usable international route is the one that imposes no job level and costs you no government fees.
Local first, international if needed
We search across Canada before proposing the international route. We bill for both, so we have no interest in steering you toward one over the other.
In Canada
- Our internal database, LinkedIn organic and paid, Meta, Indeed, Job Bank and our referral network
- A region’s pool is limited, but Canadian mobility is not
- Genuine willingness to relocate is qualified early, with the timeline and the constraints
- No government process, no processing time
Internationally
- The applicable route depends on the candidate’s nationality, the job category, the work location and the wage
- Some routes impose no job level and carry no government fees on your side
- An excellent candidate for whom no route is open is not a candidate
- Eligibility analysis is part of screening, not of the step after
You are looking for a job, not an employee
What it costs you
Nothing, if you are already in Canada with a valid work authorisation. The employer pays our fees.
We explain the job, the wage, the shift and the location, and we ask for your agreement before any presentation.
What we do not promise
Neither a job, nor a timeline, nor a permit. We work on the real mandates our clients give us.
If your trade matches a current mandate, it can move fast. If not, your profile stays in our database. See the Workers page →
We also fill these roles
Presenting a candidate is part of the recruitment process. The final hiring decision always belongs to the employer. We verify the documentation available and the declared status; any complex situation is referred for legal validation. No placement timeline is guaranteed.
Every mandate is covered by a service proposal or a tailored contract. Fees, the length of the trial period and the conditions of the replacement guarantee are set out in the signed contract. Provincial qualification requirements applying to a regulated occupation apply regardless of immigration status.
