EMPLOYER ADVISORY

Before you recruit, know what is realistic.

The assessment is free and carries no obligation. We look at your position, your region, your wage and your timeline, and we tell you what can work — and what will not. Even if the answer is that you do not need us.

WHAT WE LOOK AT

Six dimensions, because they often contradict each other

A wage that is fine in one region is not in another. A position feasible in January may not be in June. The answer comes from the combination, not from any single criterion.

01

The job

The real task description, not the title. It determines the occupation code, and therefore eligibility for each route. Two companies advertising “operator” are not always talking about the same trade.

02

The market

Does this profile exist in the local and Canadian pool, in what numbers, and who else is chasing it right now. That is what separates a difficult search from an impossible one.

03

The region

The measures applying to your work location, but also transport access, housing availability and your real capacity to welcome someone. A position in a region with no housing available is a position that reopens in six months.

04

The wage

Where it really sits against what that occupation pays in your region. That is often the true cause of a position that will not fill, and nobody dares tell you.

05

The company

Your supervision capacity, the support available to a newcomer, your tolerance for delay, and your compliance history if you have hired internationally before.

06

The timeline

Your target date against the real processing times of each route. It is the criterion that eliminates the most options, and the sooner you know, the better you plan.

LET US BE PRECISE

What the assessment is, and what it is not

What you get

  • An honest reading of your situation, even when it does not suit us
  • The realistic options, with their costs, timelines and your obligations for each
  • The ones that are not realistic, and the precise reason why
  • What you could change to make them possible: the wage, the profile, the mobility required, the timeline
  • A clear answer to the question “is this worth starting”

What it is not

  • Legal advice. It is a recruitment feasibility analysis
  • A commitment. There is nothing to sign, and you can leave with the recommendation
  • A guarantee of outcome. Government decisions are not ours to make
  • An analysis valid indefinitely. The framework changes often, and an assessment six months old should be revisited
  • A sales pretext. We sometimes conclude that you do not need an agency
AND IF IT DOES NOT WORK

A mandate that produces nothing is not relaunched unchanged

What we do when it stalls

We document every reason for rejection, yours and the candidates’. We check the gap between the criteria stated at the outset and the ones actually applied at interview. We compare the wage offered to what the market pays.

Then we come back to you with a recommended adjustment, and sometimes with a proposal to pause.

Why that is in your interest

A mandate repeated three times without changing anything costs both sides time and teaches nothing. Worse, it ends up convincing you that “those people cannot be found”, when the problem was usually elsewhere.

We would rather tell you the profile you want does not exist at the wage on offer than keep looking for something unfindable.
