We are not a law firm that does recruitment, nor an agency that subcontracts the legal side. Immigraffaires recruits, assesses, advises and coordinates employment-related immigration processes, under one roof and under distinct mandates.
Four areas, one point of contact
They can be commissioned separately. Most of our clients start with one, then add the others as the need appears.
Recruitment
Local and national first, international after if the Canadian pool does not answer. With a technical assessment per trade family, not a simple forwarding of résumés.
Immigration
Status analysis, choice of the applicable route, preparing and filing applications, employer compliance and transition to permanent status. Supervised by a lawyer.
Advisory
A free assessment that says what is feasible and what is not, before you commit to anything. Including when the conclusion is that you do not need us.
Training
Private French classes delivered by Services Tutorat, a company of the group, under a separate mandate. Because a worker who understands the instructions stays longer.
Our commitments, and where they stop
An employer who has already been let down by an agency does not need to hear promises. They need to know where ours end.
What we commit to
- Searching locally across Canada before proposing the international route
- Telling you when a mandate is not realistic, even when it costs us the contract
- Assessing every candidate technically, and passing on their gaps as well as their strengths
- Never presenting a candidate whose immigration situation has not been legally validated
- Documenting every rejection and recalibrating the mandate rather than repeating it unchanged
- Billing nothing until a candidate is placed, in recruitment
What we will never do
- Guarantee an application will be approved. That decision belongs to the authorities, never to a representative
- Present a government processing time as if it were a commitment
- Publish fake testimonials or figures we cannot prove
- Let a recruiter give a legal opinion. They gather the facts, the legal team qualifies them
- Charge a candidate already in Canada with a valid work authorisation
Why our advice is not steered
The problem with the market
An agency that only does international recruitment will propose international recruitment. An immigration firm will propose an immigration process. Each sells what it knows how to do, and that is human.
The result, for you, is a project longer and more expensive than it needed to be, because nobody had an interest in looking two hours down the road.
Our answer
We do both and we bill for both. So we have no financial interest in steering you toward one route over another.
The sequence is always the same: local across Canada first, international only if the profile does not exist here or if local searches have failed with realistic criteria.

What explains our work concretely
Recruitment and paid immigration representation are two distinct services, governed by two distinct mandates, even when coordinated within one project. Immigration representation services must be provided by an authorised person.
We support, screen, analyse and coordinate. Any decision concerning an immigration application, a work permit, a visa, a selection or permanent residence rests exclusively with the competent authorities. The hiring decision always belongs to the employer.
