Press brake operator and forklift operator

The company and the role

A manufacturing company near Plessisville, specialising in sheet metal cutting and bending. Two separate positions are open: one on the press brake, one on the forklift. The employer is willing to train a motivated person who already knows factory work.

What you will do

• Position 1: operate the bending machine and the press brake
• Position 2: drive the forklift and handle materials
• Extract sheet metal and carry out finishing work
• Remove tooling and prepare production changeovers
• Move between both functions as needed

What is required

• Experience of factory work, in a manufacturing environment
• Versatility and willingness to learn
• For the forklift role, valid training is an asset
• Ability to work standing and to keep pace

The conditions

• On-site training available for a motivated candidate
• Day shift in the short term, evening shift possible later
• Forty-hour week
• Two positions open at once, which makes integration easier
