General labourer — fibreglass

A plant manufacturing fibreglass parts, balconies and steps, in the Chaudière-Appalaches region. The employer is looking for someone long term, with progression planned: the wage grows with the experience gained on site.
Relocation assistance is provided. Saint-Agapit is about 35 minutes from Quebec City and 20 from Lévis: moving there is realistic, and the employer takes that into account.
What you will do
- Apply gel coat inside the moulds
- Spray the fibreglass
- Laminate the parts
- Remove the parts from the moulds
- Cut and polish the finished pieces
What is required
- Fibreglass experience is a genuine asset, but training is provided on site
- Aptitude for repetitive and precise manual work
- Ability to work standing and keep a steady pace
- Be legally authorised to work in Canada: citizenship, permanent residence or an open work permit
The conditions
- Progressive wage: the range grows with the experience gained
- Day shift, Monday to Friday 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., or a compressed week Monday to Thursday with Friday noon
- Three breaks a day, including half an hour for lunch
- Group insurance including dental after three months
- FTQ retirement savings plan
- Two weeks of vacation in summer and two weeks at Christmas
- Two paid sick days
- Training provided on site
